I headed out to Yellow Creek early this morning and got to there at 6:30. I started out Czech nymphing waiting for some top water action to start. I picked one up on a little black stone fly nymph. Then about 7 am some trout started rising so I switched to dries. I put on the combination that has been working for me lately 14 Adams and 16 extended body Blue Wing Olive. I managed to pick up 5 more trout on the pair before they shut off at 8 and I needed to leave. It's about time to get the beetles and ants out and start slapping the water.
